When your plans change

Selling Your Ticket

If you can no longer go to an event, you may be able to sell your tickets to another fan straight from your Ticketmaster account.

  • Sign in to your Ticketmaster Account.
  • Find the ticket/s you no longer need.
  • Hit ‘Sell’.
  • Set the price (no more than you originally paid + fees).
  • Confirm.

And that’s it. Your tickets will then be listed directly on Ticketmaster for other fans to purchase – you’ll also be provided a link to your listing to share with friends or on social media. When your tickets sell, you’ll be paid via your selected method of payment typically within 17 days.

Selling straight from your Ticketmaster account allows us to verify every ticket, cancel the original barcode and issue a new one to the buyer. This guarantees that any ticket purchased on Ticketmaster will get you into the show.

Refunds

Sometimes plans change – we get it. Under our Fan Guarantee, we’ll refund you in full (including fees) within 24 hours of purchase, subject to terms and conditions. All you need to do is submit a request through your Ticketmaster account.

FAQS

What happens if my ticket doesn’t sell?

Any tickets that don’t sell remain yours to use as you wish.

What fees are charged to sell my ticket?

We do not charge sellers to list their tickets, and the fees we charge a buyer cover the cost of processing the booking from beginning to end.

It’s been more than 24 hours since buying my tickets. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, not. Instead, see if you can sell your ticket directly through your Ticketmaster account by following the steps above.

My event has been cancelled. What happens now?

We’ll refund you in full (including fees) – you don’t need to do a thing. Check your emails, as we should have contacted you. If you have any questions about a cancelled event, please get in touch with our Customer Service team.

My event has been rescheduled. What happens now?

We’ll email you to let you know if your tickets will be valid for the new date and you won’t need to do anything else.

However, if you have purchased Print-at-home tickets, we’ll need to cancel the barcodes on your tickets and refund them automatically – you will receive payment 10-12 working days after the new event date.

If you’ve bought resale tickets for the rescheduled event, we’ll contact you to let you know what the next steps are.

You can check your event’s status on our Event Status Updates page.
