How tickets are sold

TYPES OF TICKET SALES

Depending on what our event partners decide, tickets can be made available to buy at different times and in a few different ways.

Presale

Sometimes tickets are made available to certain groups – like fan clubs or credit card or mobile network customers – ahead of the general sale. Look out for official presale announcements in newsletters and social media posts from us, the event, or venue. Always be sure to follow the directions on how to access the presale, which can mean entering via a specific URL or using a passcode.

General Sale

This is when tickets are made available to everyone. During this time, anyone can visit the Ticketmaster website or app to get tickets.

TYPES OF TICKETS

Mobile Tickets

Used on most events today, these can be downloaded in the Ticketmaster app – you can save to your mobile wallet for ease too. If ticket transfer is available for your event (this is up to our event partners), you can easily transfer tickets to family and friends.

VIP

Our event partners may decide to offer a portion of tickets as ‘VIP’ which can include anything from merchandise, front-row tickets, or an autograph through to a pre-show party, meet & greet or sound check.

Collector Tickets

Available on some events, these are customised with the tour poster and can be worn around your neck on a lanyard. Some will have a barcode which will allow you to use it as your ticket. Non-barcoded Collector Tickets won’t grant you access to the event but are still a great souvenir.
